We do not own the geolocation data; we show what DB-IP, Cloudflare and IPinfo publish, with the build date next to each. If your address shows the wrong city or country, the fix has to happen at the source. If you run the network: publish an RFC 8805 geofeed for your prefixes and the databases will pick it up on their next build. If you are a user: ask your provider to do that, and send DB-IP a correction through its website. If a consensus result on our site looks wrong despite the sources agreeing, tell us the address, the sources' values and what you believe is correct, and we will check the aggregation.

We work with network operators, VPN and DNS providers, hosting companies and publishers on data corrections, integrations (the plain-text and JSON endpoints on the developers page) and editorial collaborations. Write with a short description of what you have in mind. We do not sell placements that would present a product as a test result, and the verdicts on this site never recommend a brand.

Bug reports, feature requests, questions about a result, press enquiries and privacy requests all go to the same place: support@checkmyip.com or the form below. For a privacy request, say which right you are exercising (see the privacy policy); for a bug, include the page, your browser and, if relevant, the time of the test. Please do not send passwords or copies of identity documents — we will never ask for them.
